Just as your product or service is intended for a certain target audience for a prior purpose, so blog posts should be! Depending on the business core and growth objectives in the market, each brand and company has its publications calendar, whose periodicity varies according to certain factors, namely: target, product/service, available resources, competition, market and seasonality, since certain market niches and subjects, do not need the same frequency of publication as others. That is why some blogs have daily, weekly or monthly publications, whose time interval is strictly defined by the team of copywriters/content owners.

In this article, we'll tell you the periodicity (and its importance) of blog posts.

Quantity is not necessarily Quality!

Do you post new articles every day, but have no return? More important than regular publishing is to publish relevant content, well-written and targeted to your audience. As we have already told you here, the success of a blog is mostly due to the quality of its content.

However, you should be aware of the topics that attract the most visitors to your blog: is it the news? The product/service launches? The disclosure of brand events? Testimonials from customers? Or the DYI tips and information? Whatever the theme, you must realize what impact it has on your audience to define the content strategy to implement.

Content is King” (Bill Gates):

As you know (or should know!), it is the content that encourages the reader to return to your blog/page, which in turn contributes to increased traffic and can boost sales!

Quality Content + Frequency of Publication = Higher Number of Visits > Conversion and Sales

It is through your articles that it captures the attention of the reader and captivates their interest to follow you, subscribe to your newsletter, purchase your products or services or even ask for a budget! The content strategy allows you to define and achieve various objectives, namely: to attract, capture, engage, conquer, educate, inform your reader, but also to develop credibility, trust and brand image in the market where it operates!

Search + Search = Results > Trust

Did you think that as a consumer, you also look for detailed information on the Internet about a certain product or service before purchasing it?! Just like you, so does your client!

Given the breadth of platforms available online, the customer searches for reliable and reliable information that answers their questions and opts for the option that presents you with the most appropriate solution for their problem. But the opportunity here lies in the fact that your company is the one that generates this same content, increasing the chances of conversion and loyalty!

But do you know why it is that the frequency of blog posts is important?!

#1 Highest number of visits to your blog, website and social media

#2 The Google algorithm benefits websites and blogs regularly updated

#3 Increase the number of clients and potential customers

#4 Blogging significantly improve ROI (Return On Investment)

BUT ATTENTION: Do not bother your reader

Certainly, when we talk to you in the periodicity of publications in the blog, you imagine more articles published more times per week and a greater number of visits. Although it should not reach the "saturation point": publish an excessive number of blog posts in a certain period of time, overwhelming the audience with content. You should therefore test and analyze the results of your publications!

Examples:

- Did your blog traffic increased exponentially, when you increased from one publication per week to one publication per day? So invest in more blog posts and analyze the results.

- Has your traffic stayed the same despite going from one to two daily publications? So do not increase the number of posts per day!

There are no exact number of posts you should make on your blog, there are several indicators that should be analyzed frequently in order to define the best Content Strategy!

If your results improve significantly with the increase of posts, invest accordingly, otherwise keep the periodicity of the publications the same.

Now tell us, how often do you publish content on your blog?
