Responsive Testing

With a growing array of mobile devices, websites and web pages must be able to display their content on any screen, regardless of their size! For the high level of demand of the consumer, so obliges. Henceforth, any and all web page, web channel or website MUST operate on any device.

WHY?

Currently, the consumer conducts countless online researches, on several platforms through different devices, before purchasing a particular product or service. He can, for example, visit his website through his smartphone and make the purchase through the desktop. But for that to happen, it is necessary to create a responsive design!

In a responsive design, the images automatically resize according to the size of the screen, the buttons/links are adapted to the touch interface, geo-localization is applied and automatic change in orientation of the device (vertical or horizontal) must be provided. In addition to the basic options, it is relevant to add more specific functionality through the target of the website or web page.

However, responsive design does not stop here, Google has recently changed its algorithm to favor responsive websites and searches through mobile devices!

But for all the changes to work correctly, it is necessary to perform several tests (Responsive Testing) to evaluate the behavior and response time of the website in the different devices, operating systems and search engines and to evaluate the screen size, in order to guarantee a better user experience!
