It was in the year 2013, when he was still working in a Software Development company in Lisbon, that Marco Teodoro (DDD's current CEO and Web Developer) decided to risk and create his own Web Development company in Caldas da Rainha (Leiria, Portugal), Double Design and Development. As the name implies, it was a Design and (Web) Development company, which due to the services provided, adopted the prefix "Double" for the name. We confess that we like the concept of "Double" even more because together we do #DoubleOfBusiness! 😃

It all started with the ambition and desire to want to win in the online market, but like in other sectors and companies, starting from scratch often means starting with fewer services (in the face of competition) in order to meet demand and ensure personalized service, which is crucial for us. And so it was, our CEO began by bringing together a team of seniors, with a Programmer and a Web Designer, who respectively guaranteed the company's core services: Web Development and Branding. Since the Double Brand Identity was even made by Fábio Machado, Double's first Web Designer, who, despite being no longer in the company, continues to maintain close contact with the same, doing some freelance work, but he misses that pressure!
But where would we go?! In the agency's office, where magic happens! It is where we captivate and demonstrate our potential, but it is also where we offer you a coffee with homemade cookies, just like we would in our house. There are even those who say that the office is our second home, since it already has the essentials: coffee, sticks (which combine with the snack in the middle of the morning, in the afternoon or even with dinner! Yeah, it already was a delicious dinner!), water and more coffee!
But moving forward a little in history, and as people say in Portugal, "Grain to grain fills the chicken" and the number of requests increased in such a way that also increased the company and its work team, offering the customer a more embracing and complete. What has consequently also changed our core business, evolving into a Digital Agency, with distinct services: Web Design, Web Development, Digital Marketing, Mobile Apps, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Social Network Management and much more!
But during this journey we did not walk alone, we walked alongside our partners, who always supported us and showed great professionalism and for that, our Thanks! But we also want to thank you! Who has sought us, trusted us and keeps interest in our services and content! Thanks for the confidence and smiles!
Yes, because we are people of smiles and we love a good smile, because it is a facilitator of dialogues, great meetings and excellent projects! And why should not we smile?!
